Pierre Luc Richard, P.Geo., M.Sc.

With over 20 years in the mining industry, Mr. Richard has an excellent grasp of all aspects of exploration and mining operations, including project evaluation, development and management. He has solid expertise in gold and a strong background in silver, base metals, lithium, iron ore and rare earth deposits.

Specializing in mineral resource estimates and project evaluation for potential acquisitions and corporate guidance, Mr. Richard has contributed to more than 250 mandates for over 75 different companies during his consulting career. He has authored/coordinated more than 100 technical reports under National Instrument 43-101 and JORC.

Mr. Richard’s technical assistance has been sought by junior, mid-tier, and major companies, particularly in the fields of 3D modelling, resource estimation, reconciliation, drill planning, target generation, geometallurgy, and database integrity. During his career, Mr. Richard has mentored many younger geologists who are now qualified persons for mineral resource estimates, 3D modelling, and exploration programs. He also held the position of lecturer at the University of Quebec (province of Quebec, Canada), where he taught Best Practices in Mineral Resource Estimation and Project Evaluation to post-graduate students.

Mr. Richard has held several management positions in his career, always keeping a hands-on approach to remain proficient in the technical aspects of a project.
